🚫 1. Geographic Operation & Exclusion of US Users
Our commercial storefront operates strictly within a domestic Canadian framework.
  • Territorial Exclusion: We do not market, sell, or transport items to the United States, US territories, or any international destinations.
  • Transaction Disqualification: Any transaction attempted by a user utilizing a non-Canadian IP address, a US billing address, or a US shipping destination will be automatically flagged, denied, or cancelled by our automated ordering system.
  • Freight Forwarding Prohibited: Users are expressly prohibited from bypassing this geographic restriction through the use of border freight-forwarding depots or international proxy addresses.
💳 2. Payment Terms, Order Acceptance, & Price Corrections
Your receipt of an digital order confirmation does not constitute our legal acceptance of an order, nor does it confirm our offer to sell a product.
  • Right to Cancel: We reserve the unconditional right to refuse, limit, or cancel any transaction at our sole discretion, including after a payment card has been processed.
  • Pricing Errors: In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a system caching lag or typographic error, we will cancel the order, reverse the transaction charges, and notify you via your provided contact information.
  • Pre-Authorization Holds: Your payment card will be pre-authorized upon order placement. Settlement funds are captured only when our warehouse confirms physical inventory availability and prepares the package for transit pickup.
📦 3. Shipping Baseline Integration & Freight Liabilities
Our fulfillment protocols are legally bound to the terms set forth in our official Shipping Policy, which is fully integrated into these Terms of Service.
  • Title Transfer: Physical title and risk of loss for all purchased goods transfer directly to the buyer the moment the shipment is accepted and scanned into the carrier's network logistics system.
  • C.O.D. Rejection: We completely reject all incoming items sent via Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.). Any unapproved deliveries to our physical infrastructure will be rejected at the loading dock, and we assume zero liability for their safekeeping.

You are explicitly barred from utilizing our digital storefront or network infrastructure for any unlawful, unauthorized, or damaging purposes. Prohibited actions include:
  • Scraping & Bots: Deploying automated scraping scripts, bots, data-mining spiders, or indexing tools to harvest product information, pricing catalogs, or customer data.
  • Inventory Hoarding: Utilizing automated software to target, hoard, or clear out promotional inventory or limited-quantity product lines.
  • Security Probing: Attempting to probe, scan, test, or breach the vulnerability of our store's security architecture, payment gateways, or network servers.
⚖️ 5. Limitation of Liability & Legal Jurisdiction
  • As-Is Provision: Our digital platform, content, and listed items are delivered to you strictly on an "as-is" and "as-available" baseline for your personal use.
  • Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian provincial laws, Steffen Protective Coatings will never be held liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or items purchased through it.
  • Dispute Resolution: These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any legal action or dispute arising from this contract must be filed strictly within a court of competent jurisdiction located in Ontario, Canada.
